Refund Policy

Our refund policy is straightforward and designed to protect both the author and our team's time.

1. Initial Deposit

Publishing packages require a 50% deposit to begin work. This deposit covers the initial developmental assessment, project setup, and blocking out time in our editorial calendar.

If you decide to cancel the project before the editorial letter is delivered, we will refund the deposit minus a $250 administrative fee. Once the editorial letter has been delivered, the deposit is non-refundable.

2. Milestone Payments

For projects broken into milestone payments (e.g., after the delivery of the first three chapters), you may cancel at any milestone. You will not be billed for future milestones, but previous payments for work already delivered are non-refundable.

3. Final Payment

The final balance is due before final files (PDF, EPUB) are delivered or uploaded to retail platforms. Once final files have been delivered, no refunds are available.
